Adobe PhotoshopQuestionnaire
I conducted this survey so that I know how to appropriately tailor my work towards my target audience and so that I can make my work as effective as possible. I have determined from my survey of Milton Keynes students and teachers that my core target audience is aged from 16 to 30. This means that I have quite a broad and youthful age-range to engage with and can convey my work in a variety of ways, whether it be extensively or concisely. I deliberately decided not to target people under 16 as I would expect anyone younger than this would find it harder to understand the relevance of the issue and designing communications for children would be completely different than designing for adults and I would have to simplify my work.

Type experimentation
Poster creation
This is the process of creating my final poster. I created this piece by initially selecting a bold typeface. I selected Gotham Black as it is bold and easy to read. I chose the colour white because I needed the typography to contrast against the black background so that my poster is a lot more memorable and eye catching. I then used the liquify tool inside of Photoshop and showed the process that I went through whilst using it to convey the steps needed to fully obscure the type so that it symbolises the deterioration of data in the mind caused by dementia as clearly as possible. I then added the slogan "Memories should last a lifetime' to the bottom of the page so that the viewer knows exactly what this poster is about. I then added the NHS logo and their contact details. This poster meets the needs of my target audience as it conveys the degradation of data in the mind, meeting the codes and conventions of my project.
